[nfbcs] Quicken 2018 and JAWS 2018

Yes, no surprise there. I bought Quicken 2017 last year based on some
internet posts that said it was useable by JAWS users. But my experience
has been that many of the screens are still totally inaccessible, and the
rest have only limited accessibility. Overall, not very useable.

Thanks,
Dan

Last I knew, any version of Quicken is inaccessible. They mainly use a
bitmap image for the user interface which relies on a C++ library created
back in the mid 1970s. The original source is no longer available, and
changes to the underlying code are not possible.

Hi,

Has anyone tried the new version of Quicken )2018) and JAWS 2018? I'm
wondering if Quicken 2018 has fixed any of the accessibility issues that
plagued all previous versions?

Thanks,

Dan
