[nfbcs] Where to start in computer science:

I've run into a few companies or recruiters that want a resume in Word.
For these employers, I have a very simple resume in Word I send to them.
It's basically my LaTeX version with the LaTeX markups stripped out.
It's not very pretty, and it may cost me a few follow up calls, but I
figure it's good enough to get me past the resume scrapers used by the
on line job application process.

The upside to using LaTeX is that I can maintain my own resume, and I
don't need sighted help with the formatting. Making updates when my job
history changes or I want to tweak my resume for a particular job is a
breeze and at least in my opinion makes it well worth keeping my resume
in LaTeX. Finally, for a lot of the jobs I'm interested in demonstrating
I know and can use LaTeX is a plus.
