[NFBCS] Duolingo

Judging by the one language app I won, and comments on Applevis, language
apps often fail to label things adequately for VoiceOver, among other
accessibility problems. If you find one that works, I'd sure like to know
about it.

On Applevis, I often see a link to the developer's website. Is that the
same website you go to to try to do the work described? If it's something
different, maybe it has a contact link?
I get the impression a lot of app developers are not interested in hearing
from their customers. Maybe the only way to get through is by the Apple
rating, where you can leave comments?

Subject: [NFBCS] Duolingo

Hello,

I am trying to use the Duolingo
"https://www.duolingo.com/"
web site and iOS application to learn Spanish. While I can answer the
questions on the web site, using Firefox and Windows 10, with difficulty, it
can be done.

I am unable to answer the questions using the Duolingo iOS application. For
example, if you must translate the phrase "el hombre" into English, the
answer is "the man". In the application, you are given several words that
are buttons. You must hit the "the" button and the "man" button. The
application does not recognize these two button pushes.

I have not found a way to contact the developers from the web site nor from
the application.

I have not found a clear way to ask the question on the AppleVis
http://www.applevis.com/
web site.

I would appreciate any help people can give on either the iOS or website
Duolingo applications.

Regards
Louis Maher
