[NFBCS] gnome desktop, ORCA, and terminal console

Hi there everyone -

 

Does anyone have experience accessing the command line terminal console in
the gnome desktop using ORCA?  Can you do cut-and-paste, and review what is
on the screen, and does it keep track of the cursor in vi, and does it work
better [or not as good] as speakup?

 

I am in the process of getting a new linux workstation at work, and they are
looking into using Red Hat Enterprise [7?] rather than Debian [which I have
been using with speakup] but RHEL doesn't have speakup, only ORCA and brltty
