[NFBCS] Fwd: NIBs NSITE Cisco Academy taking applications

Hi all!
It should be interesting to see if this NIB program in the US is interested in considering potential students outside of the US.
I wrote to this Billy Parker chap but have not yet received any response.
I've been working with the provincial government here in Newfoundland and Labrador Canada, equivalent to your state government in the US, since 2006 as a computer support specialist doing mostly desktop support, and I did helpdesk from 2003-2006 with xwave now part of the Bell group of companies here in Canada, but I'm considering a career switch if the right opportunity came along.
In the case of my employer there are usually a couple of openings each year for the network operations and security team and I figure a course like this one may position me well for such opportunities.
Based on looking at the application it looks like they are catering more toward people who are new to the IT field vs those who have been actively working in it for several years as I have.
Thoughts anyone?
Thanks!
