[NFBCS] Getting info from Zoom chat

Greetings:

In the Chat window, it is possible to select all of the chat text and copy
the entire thing to the clipboard. I did this with JAWS 2020. Try this with
NVDA.

First, go to the Chat window by pressing Alt with h. Then, tab around until
you get to a list of messages that you can navigate through using the up and
down arrow keys. Now, see what happens when you press CTRL+A. Then, press
CTRL+C to copy to the clipboard. Unfortunately, there is no way to be
granular enough to grab individual messages or links.

Cordially,

Curtis Chong

Subject: [NFBCS] Getting info from Zoom chat

I was in a meeting tonight where the presenters were sharing information in
the Zoom chat window.

First, I had a hard time finding the info among all the chat, then I was
unable to copy the info to the clipboard to paste elsewhere, or to execute
the link a person provided.

Can this be done, and, if so, how?

NVDA said the link was selected, but I couldn't do anything with it.

I am using NVDA on that laptop, and I got into Zoom through an email link
that called Firefox, then put me into Zoom.

Thanks.

Tracy
