True that Jim!
What I like about the Alt+Q question box is it takes plain English. So when
you forget the actual shortcut keys it's a great way to do those one off
items rarely used.

Best,
Charles

So many ways to skin a rabbit. Once your text is selected, press control
shift l. That will create a bulleted list of all your items. No ribbons, no
question boxes, bingo!

If you have Word 2016 or later you should have the Question box.
To use that press "alt+Q"
Then type in "list"
Then arrow down to numbers, bulleted, etc.

That will change what you've selected to the list chosen.

Hope that helps.

Hi:

How do I create a bulleted list in Microsoft Word? I know how to do it from
scratch by pressing the star key on a blank line, but the text has already
been typed. I've selected it and gone to the home tab but can't find a place
for bullets. Thanks.
