[NFBCS] problems with JAWS 2021 and my Linovo laptop

It sounds like you may have accidently locked one of the cursors. The 
command, to toggle this on and off on a regular keyboard is jaws key 
plus slash on the num pad, and the other cursor is jaws key plus * 
asterisk on the numpad. I don't know the laptop keystrokes.
