[NFBCS] Flyout or expanded Menus

Funnily enough, I just now got what seems like the same problem using an
older version of Jaws and Chrome. I'll have to try the website with
Firefox.
If anyone's interested, I went to parkseed.com, picked vegetable seeds, and
then tried to pick direct-sow veggies. Couldn't do it--the menu collapsed
and I was back where I started.

Hello:

Tracy makes some very valid points. Also, it would be worth determining if
the problem exists with one browser and is fixed by another or if all
browsers exhibit the same behavior. What we are trying to do here is to
determine what has changed since this last worked. It would be unfortunate
if it turns out that the most recent JAWS update caused this problem.

With respect to the latest update of JAWS, I encountered a problem with
emojis which could only be fixed by completely removing JAWS and all shared
components and then reinstalling without migrating any settings from the
previous versions. By running into this problem, I may have inadvertently
revealed a possible bug with the JAWS migration tool.

Cordially,

Curtis Chong

Did you update Jaws recently? Did the menus work before you updated Jaws,
and not after?
Could you unload Jaws with insert +F4, and then try the menus with Narrator?
If it works, you could restart Jaws and turn off Narrator when you're where
you need to be. Not ideal, but maybe worth a try.

Hello:

I'm now having trouble using the menu function on my school's website. I
used to be able to press enter on the course work button, which brought
up a submenu of 15 items. To make a choice, you just use your up and down
down arrow keys to find your choice and press enter. Now this method no
longer works. Jaws 2021 tell me that the menu has expanded, but the first
choice on the menu no longer appears. Sometimes I land on the glossary
choice, which is in the middle of the list. Pressing enter and the tab key
doesn't work because it takes your focus away from the menu. I'm not sure
why this stopped working. Did my school make an update or is the menu no
longer accessible with Jaws? I would send the page, but you have to log in
since it is a university site. Thanks for any and all feedback.
