[NFBCS] Jaws and sound cutting out

Thanks Umberto.  I found these steps with Google, but, as you say, they don't work for my old Jaws.

Hello Tracy, 

Another suggestion for having JAWS to not cut out when it is not speaking for a while is to use use JAWS' built-in feature for this. No need to install a separate app. HERE's how to get to it: 

1. Press Insert+6 (six on the number row of the keyboard, above letter Y) 
2. Press Control+Shift+D to modify the 'Default' user settings
3. Type in the word “Avoid” in the search edit field that comes up in the settings center app. JAWS will announce whatever search results 1 of 1 or something. But the first choice among the setting results is one called, “Avoide Speech Cut off when Wearing Bluetooth Headset or some Sound Cards.” 
4. Once you find the above setting, toggle it on by hitting space bar, then tab to the OK button.
