Hello,
> for a project at work I upload to SharePoint a zipped file containing the contents of a folder.
>
> My computer has the application 7-zip on it.
>
>
>
> For the action of zipping a folder, I browse to the folder of interest using windows-e.
>
> I select the folder with space.
>
> I do applications button, send to submenu (choice n) then compressed zip folder (choice c).
>
> This creates the zip file and opens an edit box containing the name of the zipped file.
>
> I copy and paste the name to my notes for sharing with my team.
>
> I press escape and return to the item list view of the folder where I found my folder for zipping.
>
> For work with SharePoint I am finding it convenient to have a folder on my computer named uploads.
>
> I move a file into uploads that I plan to add to SharePoint.
>
> When I perform the alt-u SharePoint upload action, the upload dialog box already has in focus the uploads folder from my last upload activity with SharePoint.
>
> Now it is a matter of up-arrowing or down-arrowing to locate my file of interest and pressing enter.
>
> To complete the SharePoint upload I need to select okay which is alt-o.
>
> The next dialog box needs a save which is again an alt-o.
