Hello everyone,

I think this might have been covered before but can't seem to find the
messages right now. It's more like I'm really irritated and don't feel like
doing a deep search on any message archives.

I'm working with some software that doesn't have a Dark Mode feature and the
developers have it so that the Disability Features in Windows doesn't work.
The screen I'm working with is still a very bright white with black text!

I still have some usable vision and still use it as much as possible and I'm
still learning how to use screen readers but don't practice it enough and I
don't know how it would work with this particular software anyway. It's
like a spreadsheet with some drop down menus and check boxes in a few
columns of fields. It doesn't navigate well or as well as a regular
spreadsheet where moving around with tab or arrows awkwardly move around
some fields and not in others. I'm not sure a screen reader would work well
in this application.

I'm an Amateur Radio operator with a Technician's license and I'm trying to
use a 3rd party developed software to program my radio and having a bright
white screen in my face is starting to feel painful so I can only work with
it a few minutes at a time.

Is there a group to write to that could advocate for disability features? I
think the developers of this program is such a small group that it might not
even be taken seriously by them.
