[NFBCS] Question: WSL on Windows 11

Hello:

 

     I recently purchased a new laptop running Windows 11. Yesterday, I
installed the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL). JAWS worked fine and Linux
Ubuntu was installed. I also installed gcc. The issue I have is that when I
compile a C program, the a.out file will not execute. I get an error of
command not found. I am in the directory containing the a.out file. Any
suggestions appreciated. Thank you.
