Maurice:

Have you tried turning off highlight text under JAWS Braille Settings?
>From within Outlook, press JAWS Key six on the number row.
In the search box, type highlight.
One of the results is braille highlight. Press space to turn this off.
Tab to OK and press enter.
Even if braille highlight is set to off for the default JAWS settings, it is still on for Outlook.
Hope this helps.
Jim

Subject: [NFBCS] braille highlighting issues when using Microsoft Outlook is a part of office 365 and Microsoft Windows.

My subject line pretty much explains what my issue is. When I attempt to
read messages in Microsoft outlook meaning the subject lines, dots seven
and eight are used to highlight the subjects of the messages. My
question is is there any way to remove dots seven and eight? Because
they're making it very hard for me to read the message subject. I am
using a Brailliant BIA 40 X display, I'm running Jaws 2023 about 90% of
the time. But because of dictation issues I must go back to Jaws 2022 to
use Dragon. This issue is present when using both versions of Jaws.

The computer that I'm using this on is a Dell latitude 3520 laptop.

Please note that I am of course dictating this to the computer. Please
reach out to me if there's any part of what I have dictated above that
is not clear and understandable?

Sincerely Maurice Mines.
