One thing you can do to be sure is use your browser to go to the One Drive site and make sure everything is there. This is onedrive.com and sign in with your Microsoft account. Anything in the folders synced with One Drive will end up in One Drive, so just move the file into one of these folders, such as your Documents folder.

Subject: [NFBCS] Onedrive Backup

I attempted to sync my documents folder to OneDrive in preparation for the arrival of my new computer on Saturday. How do I verify that my files are actually backed up? I went to this PC but didn't see a Onedrive folder.
Also, I have a terminal program that I'd like to back up. I'm assuming that I need to find the path of the executable and send it to ONedrive as well? Thanks.
