[NFBCS] VDI VMWare

I am doing some consulting, and a client is asking if I can use VDI.  It is
some kind of VMWare.  

I started it through a web address, and it didn't show me any of the things
the sighted people saw on the screen, nor could I select anything, so I'm
not too hopeful.  There is also a desktop client, but wouldn't that work the
same? 

If it's like Citrix, they would be willing to put Jaws on the server, but
would that work any better than Citrix does?  I want to use it as a gateway
to get to their SQL server.

 

If anyone has any experience with VDI, please share.  I'm hoping for a
simpler solution, but perhaps this will work better than I think.

I am running Jaws and Windows 10.
