[NFBCS] CompTIA Certification

Hello,

This division has been aware of my irk about caring about doing anything to
change the accessibility of CompTIA and MOS exams since the 2018 convention!

The CompTIA a plus exams are definitely not accessible and can only be
passed by securing reader accommodations through certiport/pearson vue.

My irk also included the lack of accessibility to be able to pass the
Microsoft office specialist exams and being able to use the cisco network
packet tracer program as well!

That's why I don't see the point in joining in a nutshell!

I have taken a different path with the federal government as passing these
exams *DID NOT* generate one job offer!

Bryan

Subject: [NFBCS] CompTIA Certification

My current contract position is not working out as expected. I haven't had
any contract work this year. National Industries for the Blind has a
short-term information assurance training program leading to CompTIA
certification. I don't know any blind people who have this certification and
use it in their jobs. Is the CompTIA exam administered by Pearson
accessible? Is support desk work realistic?

Thanks,

Dan
