Are you saying you have to pass key through before selecting and then again
before copying/cutting?

Subject: [NFBCS] Microsoft Office Programs Copy/Paste Formatting Differently
If You Are Using JAWS

Several of the Microsoft Office programs allow you to specify
what you done with formatting when pasting depending on the
source/destination. I just discovered that JAWS seems to confuse whatever
Microsoft uses to determine the source. If you want Microsoft to correctly
determine the source of the text being pasted and how to handle formatting,
you have to use the pass through command (JAWS key 3) when selecting and
copying.
