Hi,

The best way to get a new computer is:
My laptop died due to poor best b buy upgrades so I ended up checking out
what hp is currently selling.
It took a while to find all my specs in one machine then I found the same
model on amazon, also added a good 4yr warranty and didn't have to pay all
up front.
I ended up with what I wanted and get to pay over 12 months.
Specs:
Win11 pro, 64g ram, 2t ssd hd, full keyboard, sd slot, fast bt/wifi, usb 3.0
& c ports, only had to settle on a usb-c to ethernet adapter.
I couldn't wait for black Friday so your deal should be pretty good.
Bryan

Subject: [NFBCS] Preparing to Purchase New Computer

Hi Everyone:

I have not been on this list for a while. I'm about to purchase a new
desktop because mine is seven years old. I have a few questions that some of
you may be able to answer:

1. I have seen several models without an SD card slot. Is it true that they
are being phased out? I've also noticed that there is no Ethernet port
either.
2. What is the easiest way to install Jaws on my new PC? Can you copy the
exe to a flash drive? I was able to do this without sighted assistance seven
years ago but can't remember what I did at the time.
3. I have Onedrive as part of Microsoft Office. Can I send all of my folders
to Onedrive and retrieve their contents on the new PC as long as I use the
same Microsoft account?
4. Can I back up my favorites and retrieve them on the new PC using the same
Microsoft account?

Thanks for your response in advance.
