Gosh, I sure hope I don't have to edit the registry! I'll call the charmers
at MS when I have a free hour or 2.

Thanks.

Tracy:

This warrants a call to Microsoft. I know this eats up time. All the fixes I
have found involve weird stuff like editing the registry.

Cordially,

I must have done something weird yesterday, because now, every time I copy a
file from one place on my hard drive to another, it says drive access
denied, then it asks me if I want to continue with automatic administrator
rights, and it continues when I hit enter.

How can I make it go back to just automatically assuming I have rights and
copying my file without asking? I asked Google, but it only talks about
admin rights for specific programs, not something as basic as file copy.

I'm running Windows 10 Pro with Jaws 2023.

Thanks. Sorry to be such a nudnik.

Tracy
