Hello everyone, here’s my question, and/or questions. What is the best method for me to use to install one X on a Dell 15.6 inch laptop that has a dying battery and its windows it’s getting so slow these days that it’s hardly worth keeping windows. I have moved my windows to a different machine. So I’m considering installing Lennox on this windows machine to allow me to do some different things with personal computing equipment. Question number one is it preferable to use a live installation disk? Or if it’s still considered appropriate to take an ISO image and make installable media, meeting a thumb drive to do this? My second question is probably a little bit more tricky, which of the major distributions can be installed as a blind person? Meaning I’m looking for an installation that will either talk, and or have braille output and or worst case scenario have me using my MacBook Pro as a terminal for me to see how the insulation is progressing a.k.a. install it over the local network.I know that I’m going to use probably orca after it’s installed because that’s what I have any virtual machine on my Mac. But I’m still trying to figure out the best way to get braille TTY onto the system to work with my current braille display. Two final thoughts here, one is my signature pretty much says mine reality meaning I am deaf blind. Which means there are some definite hearing challenges. My braille display is a Brailleiant BI 40 It and a Brailleiant BI 20 It. Final question how is Lennox with Bluetooth? This is because of needing to potentially use Bluetooth braille, and should I ever figure out how to do this get Bluetooth audio so that I can use the machine for some audio with my hearing aids.

Just so that everyone is aware the entire text of this email above what I’m saying here has been dictated to my iPhone. Everything below this section of the email is of course my official NFB signature block. I look forward to reading everyone’s answers on the list. Thank you all very much for reading this. And because this is being dictated, please excuse any errors appear above, they certainly weren’t intended.
