[NFBCS] Weird website problem

There was a message on the BT Speak earlier today concerning some people who
could not cut and paste from their web site. They acknowledged it was true,
and had a solution for JAWS for changing a setting for that site.

The only other thing I can think of is maybe they use a framework that puts
text on the screen in some non-standard way. I know with some sites, I can
not cut individual pieces, I end up with the whole page on the clipboard.

Hello Tracy:

I took the text of the link, opened Chrome, and pasted this into the address
bar.

https://www.knitpicks.com/

I did not get the error you described. It's a mystery.

Cordially,

Curtis Chong

Subject: [NFBCS] Weird website problem

I'm having a weird problem with a website, https://www.knitpicks.com/

If I go to it from a link in an email, or through Firefox, I get there. If
I try to go through Chrome or Edge, I get a network error, "site cannot be
reached", and diagnostics say the site is not responding to requests.

I tried it with Chrome on 2 different machines with the same results.

In Firefox, there are other accessibility problems, like the search button
not responding to either space or enter to activate it, so I thought I'd try
other browsers to see if they work better, but they won't even connect.

Can anyone tell me where the problem might be? If it's me, I'll fix it. If
it's them, I'll tell them about it, but I want to make sure it's them first.

Thanks.

Tracy
