I did a little more digging and the issue with Microsoft Phone Link and
iphones is one of security and there are no viable workarounds. I
staarted watching one Youtube clip and the presenter was turning off all
sorts of security features. Could not continue to watch.
A viable alternative I am starting to explore is Kde connect. It looks
like it works with Android and IOS and both Windows and Linux. I plan on
doing a little more digging and see if I can find anything discussing the
accessibility of the interfaces with screen readers.
