[NFBCS] Microsoft Phone Link question

The app and website are very accessible, in my opinion. The website can occasionally feel a little clunky. If you want to text someone, for example, you have to remember to fiddle with the virtual cursor to properly add the recipient to the To field, but on the whole, it’s been great. I only returned to it because I work in a SCIF and needed a means to keep in touch with a few people during the workday. It’s not let me down so far, and the app, again in my opinion, is even better than the web interface.

Joe,

How are you finding Google Voice? I found it to be somewhat inaccessible a few years ago and stopped using it.

Phone Link is too clunky to be a viable solution. The synchronization is too fractured to be reliable. I get along better with Google Voice for the sort of thing I think you're looking for.

Anyone using Microsoft Phone Link to help make working on projects easier? I would like to use the software to better manage texts, dictating texts has produced some embarrassing results recently. In digging through the documentation under notes it states does not work with work/school accounts. I am assuming this refers to the version of Office. Is there a work around or an alternative?

I have looked at the Connection Point software but it is far too robust for my needs plus it is $12/mo.

Thanks,
