I haven't seen this device in action so I can't comment on it. Someone told
me it only connects to a computer as a video device like a monitor. I could
be totally off-base though. I have mixed feelings about Orbit Research. I
bought the Orbit Reader 20 when it was new. It was one of those situations
that I bought the device because everyone was talking about it, and it was
scarce. I remember calling APH early in the morning to place an order. They
ran out of units a few hours later. This was during the time they were
getting a limited number of units from Orbit Research. I liked the Orbit
Reader for a few months until a pin kept getting stuck. I sent it in for
repair and the same pin caused issues repeatedly. I wonder how a person
performs a software update of the Graphitti. Updating the other Orbit
products is a bit of a challenge.

The situation with multi-line devices reminds me of the early days of the
Kurzweil reading machine. The devices were prohibitively expensive but
eventually became affordable. It remains to be seen if multi-line devices
will become affordable.
