The last time I used it was on a stand alone system via the graphical interface long ago and again over the command line in school. <span style='font-family:"Segoe UI Emoji",sans-serif'>😊</span><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>However, would you be running SQL from the command line or would you be using the GUI interface? You should be able to SSH into it using a command line over remote desktop depending on the configuration.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Alternatively, as Tom noted in his message, you can connect using Remote desktop. This is what I do at work, there is a shell script that connects me to a VMWare server, and once connected, I can access a full windows desktop environment with VMWare.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I have not used JAWS Tandem in this situation, but maybe that would help. You could either connect through JAWS servers, which probably is not the option you would want for confidential or proprietary information. You could also try Tandem Direct, which would give you a direct connection from the company server to you only. I have not tried this, but I looked into it for some work projects. Unfortunately, due to various configuration issues and network requirements, it wasn’t possible for me.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>There are many smart Linux people here, I’m sure you could remotely connect over command line and use a version of SQL and perhaps they could help with that. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Perhaps sending an email or calling JAWS Support might help. There are several VMWare options, it’s just that many people prefer the browser way of doing things. I use remote desktop from my desktop which then connects to a VMWare environment.
