<p class="MsoNormal">Not efficient, but when I need to run as a another user for SSMS, select open file location from th e start menu for SSMS, then from file explorer shift – f10 works on the SSMS shortcut.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">You might want to copy the SSMS shortcut to your desktop and it should work by doing shift – f10

<p class="MsoNormal">I need to get into MS SQL Server Management Studio by using the menu under shift-applications, which is not the same as the menu under plain applications. The shift-applications menu has the option to run as a different user.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Getting the menu is very hit-and-miss. I usually have to hit shift-applications several times before I actually get it.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Does anyone use this menu and know how to get into it without several tries?<o:p></o:p></p>
