Commands that should have worked were not working, and even things like opening an email resulted in my cursor being thrown to the top of the new window, somewhere above the actual body of the message. On a newer computer, however, the experience felt more like what it should have been all along. I have no idea why there’s a difference. I was using the same JAWS version and build at the time. Whether or not this can be attributed to quirks in JAWS 2025, I couldn’t tell you, but in my personal opinion, even on JAWS 2026, on the newer Windows 11 computer, the New Outlook just feels ... quirky? That’s the best way I can describe it. For a brief period I actually switched to Thunderbird and liked it much more than I thought I would. I eventually came back to Outlook Classic, because although I know its days are numbered, it’s still a few years away. Why upset the cart if its wheels can still roll along more or less okay?<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>Joe<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><div><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Times New Roman",serif'>--<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Times New Roman",serif'>Joe Orozco: Your Message, My Mission<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Times New Roman",serif'>https://joeorozco.com/services/<o:p></o:p></span></p></div><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><div><div style='border:none;border-top:solid #E1E1E1 1.0pt;padding:3.0pt 0in 0in 0in'><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif'>From:</span></b><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif'> NFBCS <nfbcs-bounces@nfbnet.org> <b>On Behalf Of </b>Curtis Chong via NFBCS<br><b>Sent:</b> Thursday, March 19, 2026 9:02 PM<br><b>To:</b> NFB in Computer Science Mailing List <nfbcs@nfbnet.org><br><b>Cc:</b> Curtis Chong <chong.curtis@gmail.com><br><b>Subject:</b> [NFBCS] Microsoft's New Outlook<o:p></o:p></span></p></div></div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><div><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:black'>Greetings all:<o:p></o:p></span></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:black'> <o:p></o:p></span></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:black'>After more than a year of procrastination, I finally decided today to start familiarizing myself with Microsoft's New Outlook program.
