<p>I don't remember if this came up here or somewhere else, but
apparently they plan to fix it in the next release. This looks and
feels like debugging information though.</p>
<p>Either way, I'm just putting this degredation down to the
inshitification of yet another product where they're trying to
force AI on you. It's much more usable on the phone which is where
I use it for all my millions of work meetings unless I need to
screenshare or do virtual pair-programming with someone. this
might be a better option; I just have a cheap 3 port active mixer
I stuck to the bottom of my desk with dual-lock, so my phone and
JAWS from my desktop come through the same headphones.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Recently on two computers, I am
noticing that Zoom is speaking CONTROL_ID information,
and when looking at settings, some settings seem not to
be spoken.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>The pattern seems to be that if I TAB to a
setting that tells one to press F6 to go to Pop-up that
controls are no longer spoken.<span
style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>I have tried pressing F6 in case a pop-up can be
closed but nothing speaks.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>For a specific example, going to the Audio tab
and tabbing through the speaker settings one will
encounter a control that says \u201cFor gallery or immersive
view only. Not supported with wireless headphones. Press
F6 to reach the popup\u201d.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>At that point, pressing TAB speaks nothing.<span
style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>On occasion, speech has <span class="GramE">returns,
but</span> stops when I hit the next control with a
pop-up.
<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>The behavior
seems to be the same with JAWS, NVDA, and Narrator.<span
style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>I am using Windows 11 on both machines.<span
style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>
Everything seems to work if I navigate with the JAWS
Touch controls.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>Is this something that is happening to others?<o:p></o:p></p>
