Asunto: El Carnaval de Braille Necesita Voluntarios



Soy Andrea Beasley, presidente de los padres de los niños ciegos en
Wisconsin.

Me pusieron a cargo del Carnaval de Braille, y he estado trabajando

arduamente para juntar un

gran carnaval que todos disfrutarán. Se me han ocurrido varias

actividades que son todas juegos de carnaval adaptados. Estoy buscando

voluntarios para este

acontecimiento. Necesitaré mucha ayuda con esta actividad, déjenme por favor

saber si pueden ayudar, y donde desean ayudar.



La lista de juegos es cómo sigue:



estallido de los globos con las notas de Braille ocultadas debajo.

pesca por las letras de Braille.

sacudida del bolso de habas para hacer las letras y los letreros de Braille.

la pintura de la cara con letras y letreros de Braille.

plastilina de juego utilizando una receta de Braille.

la caza de tesoros simplificada.

Baldes de arena con Braille para encontrarlo dentro.

Juegos de las matemáticas de Braille.

mesa silenciosa con libros, tarjetas, etc..

cabina de premios de boletos.



Aquí es donde estoy en apuro, me fué pedido este fín de semana

tener una actividad separada para los niños de la edad de la escuela
secundaria, ya que  se

piensa que a ellos no les agradarán estas actividades, así que, ahora estoy
buscando ideas.



Ojalá que todo esto le suene cómo diversión y exaltación. Sé que tenemos a
un

voluntario con una alergia al látex, y me encantaría saber quién es, y poder
hablar

con él, por lo que, si es usted, por favor, envíeme correo electrónico sobre
esto. También tengo

necesidad de alguien que haya tenido experiencia en la pintura de la cara.
Considero que

yo podría hacer esta actividad

si nadie piensa que puede hacerlo.



Tengo una lista de artículos necesarios. Así que, escríbanme, por favor, y
déjenme saber si

tienen alguno de estos artículos, y estarían dispuestos a traerlos con sigo.



Boletos: cada cabina pasará boletos a los niños, tales cómo para

Chuck E. Cheese, donde lo gastarán en la cabina de boletos.

Premios para detrás de la cabina de boletos.

Pequeños globos: estoy averiguando sobre los globos que no están hechos de
látex.

Tablero de corcho para pegar con tachuelas los globos con mensajes sobre

Dardos, para hacer estallar los globos.

Cañas de pezcar magnéticas.

Letras magnéticas de la impresión de Braille.

Piscina pequeña/inflable del bebé.

Pequeños bolsos de habas.

Moldes metálicos del mollete

Baldes.

Avena, Seca porque considero que la arena acabaría  siendo demasiado liosa.

Pizarras, punzones, máquina de escribir en Braille, papél, libros de Braille
de varios

niveles, barajas en Braille para jugar a las cartas, Braille Uno, juegos de
mesa en Braille,

etc. Para la mesa cilenciosa.

Notas en Braille para poner detrás de los globos, y para las pistas de la

caza de tesoros que podrían necesitar ser escritas esa mañana.

Pintura de la cara, preferiblemente una que se pueda sentir no solo ver.



Considero que esto cubre lo qué tenía. Quiero otra vez agradecer a todos

por su ayuda y esfuerzo que será puesto en este acontecimiento divertído.

Sé que mi hijo está

esperando con mucho placer ir a la convención este año. No fuímos

el año pasado debído a que no podía viajar, pero este año estaré contenta de
estar de regreso.



Aceptaré cualquier idea que todos ustedes tengan para los escolares
secundarios,

Yo, odié esos años, así que los he bloqueado, y no

recuerdo lo que me agradaba hacer

durante esa época. :)
