Cómo todos saben ya, estamos celebrando como nunca antes: ¡El año del

Braille! En la convención tendremos nuestro Mercadillo anual del libro en

Braille. En ninguna otra parte pueden los niños ciegos entrar en una "
librería" y hojear

libros para su deleite, y conseguir que sean enviados a casa a sus

puertas principales. El salón es eléctrico con su entusiasmo cada año.

Les estoy pidiendo a todos los miembros y amigos que por favor ayuden a
hacer la selección de libros

disponible como nunca antes.



¡Donen un nuevo libro al mercadillo! Pueden comprar un libro en Braille en
el

National Braille Press.org, o Seedlings.org, y envíarlo a la

dirección de Peggy Chong, ella la fijará en un futuro próximo. O tiene quizá

una máquina de estampación, y desea hacer un libro, ¡tomaremos eso también!



El año pasado teníamos una extrema necesidad de libros Buenos para los
adolescentes, de 13 a 18.

Las muchachas querían cuentos de amor, y de misterio, los muchachos querían
cómo los del Satélite digital Español/Canal de Cabletelevisión, Sci Fi, por
sus siglas en Inglés y

aventura de la acción. No olvide las obras clásicas tales como El Conde de
Monte

Cristo, o Los Tres Mosqueteros, o los nuevos calientes como la serie
, el Crepúsculo,

Twilight. Nada substituye una buena copia dura para enrollarse con esta, y
para

edificar velocidad de la lectura. Teníamos libros para los adolescentes,
pero muchos estaban muy

desgastados, o los títulos eran más bién de asuntos de libros de texto que
lectura de

recreo. Esto no quiere decir que no fueron apreciados, pero considero que
saben lo que quiero

decir.



Aceptaremos libros para cualquier edad. Los libros tempranos del tablero, al
tacto, y de la sensación

pueden ser adaptados fácilmente agregando Braille pegado por muchos
miembros. ¡Ya

sea un proyecto de la sucursal!



Ayúdenos a hacer este el mejor mercadillo cómo nunca antes, brindándole a
cada niño ¡una

Gran opción de libros nuevos y levemente usados para elegir!
