La reunión de la junta directiva de la División de Viajes y Turismo, una división de orgullo de la Federación Nacional de Ciegos, tendrá su próxima Reunión el 23 de Enero del 2012, a 8:00 hora del Este 7:00 Central, 6:00 Montaña, y 5:00, hora del Pacífico.

Esta reunión está abierta a todos, y les preguntamos si desearían participar en esta convocatoria o en cualquier convocatoria que tengamos, hay pocas directrices.


1. Por favor, recuerde que estas llamadas serán grabadas, así que, al ser parte de las llamadas están dando su permiso para ser grabados.


2. Si no es un miembro pagado en la división, que es de $10.00 al año, no tiene ningún derecho a voto, pero se le permite hacer preguntas, cuando abrimos las llamadas a Preguntas y Respuestas. Por lo que, pedimos que hagan silencio, y que también esperen ser reconocidos antes de hablar.


Todas las recomendaciones serán señaladas.


Las discusiones durante la reunión serán de la siguiente manera:


Ya que tuvimos un orador invitado al comienzo del mes, no habíamos tenido nuestra reunión regular.


Tendremos actualizaciones de cada funcionario en lo que han estado trabajando para la división en los últimos meses, como la actualización de nuestro sitio web, los cambios a nuestra Constitución que se presentarán para su aprobación en tiempo de nuestra reunión del 1 de julio del 2012 en la convención nacional en Dallas.


Posibles ideas para viajes en grupo, ya sea antes o después de la convención.


Necesitamos oír ideas para el área de Dallas. Si desea ir a algún lugar en particular, necesitamos saber de usted. Avísenos a dónde desea ir, también estamos utilizando esto como un recaudador de fondos para la división.

The Board Meeting of the Travel and Tourism Division, a proud Division of the National Federation of the Blind, will have it's next meeting on January 23rd, 2012 at 8PM Eastern, 7PM Central, 6PM Mountain, 5PM Pacific Time.


This meeting is opened to all, we ask if you would like to participate in this call or any calls we have, there are a few guide lines.


1. Please remember these calls will be recording, so being part of the calls you acknowledge your permission to be recorded.


2. If you are not a paid member of the division which is $10.00 a year, you do not have any voting privileges, but you are allowed to ask questions, when we open the calls up to Q&A.  So we are asking that you mute yourselves and also wait to be recognized prior to speaking.


All recommendations will be noted.


Discussions during the meeting will be as followed:


Since we had a guest speaker the beginning of the month, we did not have our regular meeting.


We will have updates from each officer on what they have been working of for the division over the last few months, such as updating our website, changes to our constitution to be submitted for approval.


Time for our meeting on July 1st, 2012 at the National Convention in Dallas. 


Possible ideas for group tours either before or after the convention.


We need to hear ideas for the Dallas area. If you want to go somewhere in particular, we need to hear from you.  Let us know where you want to go, we are also using this as a fundraiser for the division as well.


So lets hear from all of you.
