Estimados Federacionistas:

La Convención Nacional de la Federación estará aquí antes de darnos cuenta, y nos sentimos muy contentos de anunciar nuestro Proyecto Nacional de Servicios a la Comunidad en Dallas durante la Convención del 2012.

Venga y únase a nosotros para organizar una fiesta de mitad de verano para los niños en el refugio de puerta de enlace de familias sin hogar, Family Gateway Homeless Shelter, llena de artesanías, actividades y diversión para los niños.

Organización: Family Gateway Shelter

Fecha: Sábado, 30 de junio del 2012

Hora: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm (Esto incluye el tiempo de viaje, el tiempo de arreglo, limpieza, y el real evento. El tiempo también está asignado para el almuerzo juntos después (lugar por determinar), pero desgraciadamente, la Federación no será capaz de pagar por el almuerzo.
Transporte: El transporte Será proporcionado para todo el mundo que se inscribió, desde y hacia el Refugio, de regreso al Hotel Anatole.

Número de participantes: Debido al espacio limitado, sólo somos capaces de tomar las primeras 13 personas que se inscriban y llenan el formulario de verificación de antecedentes.

Hora de Reunión: 9:00 am. El grupo se reunirá en el lobby del hotel Hilton Anatole (2201 North Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75207).

1. Verificación de Antecedentes. Todo el mundo que desee participar en este evento debe llenar una verificación de antecedentes. El formulario (adjunto) consiste en una cierta información básica necesaria, debe ser llenada y firmada con el fín de ser aceptada. Esta es la norma cuando uno está interactuando con los niños con el fín de garantizar su seguridad completa. Favor enviar una copia escaneada de la verificación de antecedentes para

o por fax al 214-823-2475. NOTA: La fecha límite es el lunes, 25 de junio del 2012.

2. Sin fotografías de los niños debido a los requisitos de confidencialidad de la vivienda.

3. Uno no puede preguntar sobre los detalles específicos de la situación personal de los Niños en el refugio.

¿Qué mejor manera de unirnos como compañeros Federacionistas, y hacer nuevos amigos mientras están Compartiendo su regalo de tiempo para ayudar a reconsiderar, tanto la ceguera en la sociedad como la falta de vivienda en nuestras comunidades. levantémonos para ayudar a nuestros niños sin hogar, y participemos.

  NFB National Convention Will Be Here Before We Know It, And We Are Excited To Announce Our National Community Service Project In Dallas During The 2012 Convention.

  Come join us as we host a Mid-Summer Party for the Kids at the Family Gateway Homeless Shelter, filled with crafts, activities, and fun for the kids.

  Details As Follows……

  Organization: Family Gateway Shelter

  Date: Saturday, June 30, 2012

  Time: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm (This includes traveling time, set up/cleaan up time, and the actual event. Time is also allotted for lunch together afterwards (location TBA), but unfortunately, the NFB will not be able to pay for lunch.
  Transportation: Will be providing transport for everyone signed up to and from the Shelter back to the Anatole Hotel.

  Number of Participants: Due to limited space, we are only able to take the first 13 individuals who sign up and complete the background check form.

  Meeting Time: 9:00 am -- The group will meet at the Hilton Anatole Hotel lobby (2201 North Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75207).

  A Few Rules To Follow...............................

  1.      Background Check - Everyone wanting to participate in this event must complete a background check. The form (attached) consists of some basic information needed, it must be completed and signed in order to be accepted. This is standard when one is interacting with children in order to ensure their full safety. Please email a scanned copy of the background check to sshams at familygateway.org or fax to 214-823-2475. PLEASE NOTE: Deadline is Monday, June 25, 2012.

  2. No Photographs of the children due to the confidentiality requirements of the shelter.

  3. One may not ask about specific details of childrenâ€™s personal situation at the shelter.

  What Better Way To Come Together As Fellow Federationists And Make New Friends While Sharing Your Gift Of Time To Help Rethink Both Blindness In Society And Homelessness In Our Communities. Let Us Rise To Help Our Homeless Children, and Let's Get Involved.

  If you wish to sign up to be part of our National Community Service Project, please contact Marcey Gonzalez at marceygonzalez at gmail.com to sign up. Remember, you have been officially signed up when you have contacted us with name, state, e-mail, and phone number and have included the background check (individuals on a first-come-first-served basis). An email will be sent as we approach convention with further details for all those that have confirmed to participate.

  Remember, Deadline is Monday, June 25, 2012.
