nuestra
  filosofía en su vida cotidiana.

  ========================

participar,
  o no sabes cómo empezar?

tu comunidad, ¡únete a nosotros! Esperamos con placer verte en
la Convención, ¡y vamos a participar!

>> Many of our young people are looking for more ways to get involved. This
>> announcement about a convention activity would be a great one to send
>> them! Although it is open to people of all ages, college students and
>> young adults are doing a lot of the organizing, and this group is giving
>> them a great way to develop their leadership skills and to live our
>> philosophy in their daily lives.

>>
>> How do you feel about community service? Do you volunteer your time once
>> in a while in the community or with your local church and want to find
>> other blind individuals to connect with? Do you find community service
>> interesting but are not sure that you as a blind person can get involved
>> or don't know how to begin?
>>
>> Here's your opportunity!
>>
>> The Community Service Group will be holding two back-to-back meetings on
>> Saturday, July 30 at this year's National Convention in Dallas. First,
>> come join us for our inaugural seminar, featuring topics ranging from
>> mentorship to family involvement in service to how community service can
>> help you get a job. The seminar will take place from 5:00 PM to 7:00 Pm
>> in the Milan Room, Tower mezzanine.
>>
>> Immediately following the seminar and in the same place, we will have an
>> organizing meeting from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Come join other
>> service-minded Federationists as we discuss how to spread the message of
>> service throughout our chapters, divisions, and affiliates and recap our
>> first-ever national service project, held earlier that day.
>>
>> Whether you're seasoned at service or a little nervous to get your feet
>> wet in your community, come join us! We look forward to seeing you at
>> Convention, and let's get involved!
