Saludos Compañeros Federacionistas:
La 73ª Convención Nacional Anual de la Federación Nacional de Ciegos se acerca rápidamente, así que antes de que la programación de todo el mundo esté llena del todo, quería dirigirme a ustedes para solicitar su ayuda. El equipo de NFB-NEWSLINE® organizará un salón de exposición y una mesa en el Salón de Exposiciones de este año. Para ambas actividades se requiere un número de voluntarios y agradeceríamos mucho cualquier tiempo que puedan ofrecer para ayudar con nuestras actividades de la convención.
Hemos lanzado recientemente nuevas funciones de servicio, y deseamos dar a los asistentes a la convención una oportunidad para familiarizarse con estas adiciones, para que puedan sacar el máximo provecho de ellas. Para ayudarnos en este esfuerzo, además de nuestras dos mesas en el Salón de Exposiciones, el equipo de NFB-NEWSLINE® ha dispuesto un salón de exposición que permitirá demostraciones prácticas de las mejoras recientes en el servicio, como el nuevo, alertas metereológicas de emergencia, emergency weather alerts, y la última actualización de nuestra aplicación Móbil de NFB-NEWSLINE® para el iPhone. También vamos a demostrar algunas de las nuevas funciones y servicios más pequeños añadidos al sistema, y las últimas publicaciones disponibles ahora para los ciegos, tales como la publicación militar de los Estados Unidos Stars and Stripes.
Nuestro salón de exposición estará disponible durante doce horas de tráfico para pasar, y las mesas del Salón de Exposiciones deberán ser atendidas durante veintitrés horas, por lo que, ¡necesitamos mucha ayuda! Greetings fellow Federationists:
The 73rd annual national convention of the National Federation of the Blind is rapidly approaching, so before everyone's schedule is entirely packed, I wanted to write to you to ask for your assistance. The NFB-NEWSLINE® team will be hosting a demonstration room and a table in the Exhibit Hall this year. Both of these activities will require a number of volunteers and we would greatly appreciate any time that you could offer to help with our convention activities. 
We have recently launched new service features, and we want to give convention attendees an opportunity to become familiar with these additions so that they can make the most of them. To aid us in this effort, in addition to our two tables at the Exhibit Hall, the NFB-NEWSLINE® team has arranged for a demonstration room that will allow for hands-on demonstrations of our recent service enhancements, such as the new emergency weather alerts and the latest update to our NFB-NEWSLINE® Mobile application for the iPhone. We will also demonstrate some of the newest smaller features and services added to the system and the latest publications now available to the blind such as the U.S military publication Stars and Stripes.
Our demonstration room will be available for twelve hours of walk-in traffic, and our tables in the Exhibit Hall will need to be staffed for twenty-three hours, so we need plenty of help! We are looking for support from our members who are familiar with the NFB-NEWSLINE® service. 
Additionally, we need volunteers to staff our room's four workstations to help convention attendees learn about recent service initiatives. Our volunteers will be asked to assist visitors in many ways­by providing information, handing out literature, and helping sign up new subscribers. We will provide interested volunteers with information on these new service initiatives before convention via conference call during the week of June 24th so that everyone is up to speed.
