Compañeros Federacionistas:

No puedo creerlo. Estamos a sólo una semana de la mayor reunión 
entusiasmante de personas ciegas que ocurrirá una vez en esta vida: ¡la 
convención del 2014
de la Federación Nacional de Ciegos en Orlando! Si esta repleta agenda este 
año aún no ha causado que tu cociente de emoción haya crecido a niveles 
récord, tengo
una vuelta más que añadir a la mezcla: La convención de este año va a ser un 
asunto de TTPD.  ¿Qué significa este TTPD, te preguntarás? ¡Por qué traer tu 
propio dispositivo
por supuesto!

Este año, la Organización Nacional de Padres de Niños Ciegos (NOPBC) está 
patrocinando un taller de tecnología para que Traigas Tu Propio Dispositivo, 
como parte de las actividades del Seguimiento al Rastro de la Juventud
para estudiantes de 11 a 18.
Su presidente amablemente me pidió que coordinara este evento, y yo reuní un 
equipo de estudiantes de la secundaria y preparatoria, expertos en 
tecnología
que aman nuestra tecnología y están listos para responder a tus preguntas.
Si tienes un dispositivo sobre el cual tienes una pregunta o si 
sencillamente
te gusta hablar de trabajo con otros usuarios de tu dispositivo (s), eres 
bienvenido a pasar por allá en cualquier momento durante nuestro taller y 
estaremos encantados de ayudarte.  A medida que el extenso Rastro de 
Seguimiento a la Juventud
bajo el cual se presenta este taller indica que este evento se dirige 
especialmente a los padres de familia y a sus jóvenes consumidores de 
tecnología.  Sin embargo, todos son bienvenidos a pasar por allá, ya sea 
niño o niña en la cabeza.

El taller tendrá lugar el viernes, 4 de julio, desde 8:00 hasta 10:00 PM
en el Salón 11, Nivel 2.  Esto será inmediatamente después de la fiesta de 
baile patrocinada por Conchita
Hernández y Alex Castillo, que tendrá lugar en el mismo salón.  Así que, a 
medida que haces tus maletas para la convención, asegúrate de llevar tu 
tecnología contigo. Luego, pasa por allá para vernos en el Salón 11 desde 
8:00 hasta 10:00 PM el viernes para el taller TTPD.  ¡Espero verte a tí y a 
tus dispositivos en Orlando!
