Cabe decir que yo no fuí la que hice la traducción del lema de la 
Federación en este anuncio, y lo dejé en su totalidad tal y como lo 
encontré allí.

Al mirar más abajo en el texto en Inglés, encontrarán que allí fue 
incorporado.

Me refiero al mensaje:

La National Federation of the Blind sabe que la ceguera no es la

característica que define tu futuro o a ti. Todos los días elevamos las

expectativas de los ciegos, porque las bajas expectativas crean obstáculos

entre los ciegos y su futuro.  Puedes vivir la vida que queres, la ceguera

Compañeros Federacionistas,

   La División de Servicios a la Comunidad es una división nueva y 
orgullosa de la Federación Nacional de Ciegos.
  Como saben, la misión de la División de Servicios a la Comunidad es 
garantizar la igualdad de oportunidades para las personas ciegas 
mediante el servicio comunitario y la abogacía.
  Consideramos que al servir entre y junto a nuestros compañeros 
videntes podemos modelar la filosofía positiva de la ceguera y volver 
añicos conceptos equivocados.
  Consideramos que al dar devuelta e involucrarnos, podemos mostrar cómo 
los ciegos pueden vivir la vida que queremos. Podemos demostrar lo que 
siempre hemos creído; que
la ceguera no es, no ha sido y no será la característica que nos define 
a nosotros o a nuestro futuro, que a través del voluntariado de nuestro 
tiempo, y mediante el servicio en las
comunidades en las que vivimos, poco a poco aumentaremos las 
expectativas de la ceguera.

  La División ha establecido cuatro comités separados y únicos, llenos 
de líderes apasionados, dedicados con impulso. Cada comité tiene algunos 
posibles
proyectos en los cuales un individuo puede desempeñarse.  Le animamos a 
echar un vistazo al comité y a los proyectos asociados con cada uno de 
ellos, y considerar unirse al proyecto del comité que quiere.
Comité: de Alcance, y Alianzas Estratégicas (quiere difundir la voz 
acerca de esta nueva división, lo que vamos a hacer, cómo vamos a 
beneficiar al movimiento,
y desafiar a compañeros Federacionistas a vivir la vida que quieren a 
través del servicio). Co-Directores: Charlotte Czarnecki y  Sarah 
Leon.   proyectos: desafío de servicios,
asociaciones de agencias de servicio, servicios de la ciudad 
universitaria y programa de participación de asociaciones, asociaciones 
de centros de entrenamiento.

Comité: Publicaciones (quiere armar a aquellos que quieran servir pero 
no saben cómo con las ideas, habilidades y herramientas para hacerlo). 
Co-directores Michelle
Mitchell  y Hindley Williams    Proyectos: cómo es para los (proyectos 
estatales de convenciones, la participación individual, participación de 
los padres de familia y la familia, la participación del capítulo),.

Comité: Las redes sociales y los medios de comunicación (Considera que 
la imagen cibernética lo es todo. Considera que lo que hacemos es tan 
fabuloso que tiene que ser publicado para que todo el mundo, [la red 
mundial] pueda verlo). Director: Chris Parsons. Proyectos: facebook, 
twitter, Etc. blog, sitio web y boletín informativo.

Comité: recaudación de fondos (tal vez le gusta la recaudación de 
dinero, tal vez es súper creativo y no le importa aprender como 
convertir eso en recaudar el dinero, tal vez
quiere estar en un equipo que es tan divertido, que se le olvidó que 
está recaudando fondos).
