El Retiro Virtual para Personas Mayores en 2021

del 19 al 25 de Septiembre

En Todo Lugar y en Todos Lados

Este retiro virtual se enfoca en promover una sensación de bienestar y 
confianza en uno mismo a pesar de vivir con una pérdida de la vista 
recientemente

adquirida y/o ceguera de por vida.

Nuestra experiencia colectiva nos ha enseñado que aprender sobre la 
ceguera de personas ciegas competentes, mientras compartimos la 
camaradería de otros

miembros del retiro,

fortalece el crecimiento personal y guía a las personas mayores a abogar 
por sí mismas. Los participantes pueden esperar recibir capacitación en 
habilidades básicas en adaptación

técnica, desarrollo de nuevas estrategias para resolver problemas, una 
introducción a recursos valiosos, todo para poder determinarlo mejor por 
sí mismos,

qué pasos pueden tomar para vivir la vida que quieren. No podemos 
exagerar el impacto positivo que experimentará una persona como miembro 
de un grupo de personas mayores,

trabajando juntos, compartiendo las actividades que cambian la vida en 
un retiro de esta naturaleza; ¡Pregúntele a uno de nuestros recién 
graduados!

ELEGIBILIDAD

Los participantes deben ser legalmente ciegos o tener un cambio grave de 
vista. Deben tener un ardiente deseo de aprender técnicas no visuales 
enseñadas por

competentes instructores ciegos. No es necesario ser una persona mayor o 
un miembro de la Federación Nacional de Ciegos para llenar una solicitud.

COSTO

El costo es de $ 50 por asistente. El dinero debe recibirse para el 30 
de agosto de 2021 a más tardar. El pago se puede realizar mediante 
cheque o PayPal. PayPal acepta tarjetas de crédito y

tarjetas de débito.
