Earline noticed this column in the Daytona News-Journal and I spoke with Cindy Casey today. I hope this will provide more widespread local public notice and participation. I urge all our chapter members to continue discussing this event with friends, family, and neighbors.
Peace and love,
Brian

Subject: Blind Students Scholarships FundRaising Event
Hello Cindy Casey,
My name is Brian Norton, and I discussed this event with you Friday afternoon, February 1st. I appreciate you providing newspaper notice of our blind students fund raising event. I am the local chapter president of the National Federation of the Blind and also a full -time student at Daytona State College. I copied Nikki Roth with this correspondence since she is familiar with our organization, and wrote a very good article published in the News Journal about our NFB White Cane Blind Pedestrian Safety Day event. Many local officials participated and spoke at that event in November 2018, including Sheriff Chitwood, Police Chief Capri, and Mayor Henry.
I have included below the specific information about our event. If you desire any additional information, please contact me anytime at my below email and phone.
Grateful for your assistance and support,
Brian
