Our friend Peter Cerullo died last year on February 22nd. He was also my friend, leader, teacher, and mentor. In my  efforts to follow his leadership role to improve motivation and educational opportunities  of our blind NFB student members,
I encourage you to attend this blind Student Scholarship  Fund raising Event on Monday evening February 18th, President's Day @ McKenna's Place Port Orange from 4pm - 7pm.
Please review details in attachment PDF event flyer. In addition to restaurant address directions, there is also address for sending in donations to our tax exempt non-profit educational organization(Greater Daytona Bch. Chapter of the NFB of Florida).

Please discuss or distribute event flyer to friends, co-workers, and family.

Subject: Blind students scholarship fund event

Dear Daytona Beach community leaders,
I am a current DSC student in Paralegal Studies, and DSC Paralegal Studies Club President. I am also President of the Florida NFB Greater Daytona Beach Chapter.
I am encouraging local community leaders to participate in our fund raising event on Presidents Day at McKenna's Place. The 4pm -7pm evening event will provide us with a percentage of all meal receipts  plus voluntary donations. There is no extra charge for admission. This money will help us fund blind student scholarships.
We are an approved tax exempt non-profit organization, and will provide documentation upon request.

I would appreciate your participation,and the details are included in the attached PDF flyer.
