[NFBF-Daytona] Agenda for February GDB chapter meeting and NoticeReminder of Monday McKenna event

Greetings NFB GDB members and supporters, Remember to attend our February 18 McKenna's Place event from 4- 7pm this next Monday. I have attached flyers with address and details.

Bring your friends, neighbors, and family.

On next Saturday February 23, 2019 we will hold our chapter meeting at Houligan's Speedway Restaurant, 1725 W. IS Blvd. from 1pm - 3pm. The private backroom is reserved beginning noon for those members who wish to lunch.

We will discuss several important business agenda items:

1. Please make certain that you pay your 2019 $10 chapter dues to Jean Cerullo.

2. Please provide President Brian or Earline of your plans to attend our Memorial Weekend  Florida NFB affiliate Convention in May at Boca Raton We will discuss group transportation alternatives and hotel room reservations. 3. We will also discusss ideas for chapter fund raising at the convention and donation of chapter basket for NFB auction.

We are fortunate for two speakers four our meeting on the 23rd.

The first speaker is a registered dietician that works at > Halifax Hospital in the Oncology Center. Her topic of discussion will be "Why does the Scale Get Stuck?"



Our second speaker is Ryan Mann, who most of us already know and admire for his great teaching at the Center for the Visually Impaired. He > will be telling us all about Narrator, which is the  built-in speech > program that comes with Windows ten.



Also, we will spend a few moments of prayer and recollection  of memories about our friend and chapter leader Peter Cerullo who died on February 22nd, 2018 last year.

Our last month minutes and Treasury report will be provided later this week before our next Saturday chapter meeting.
