Florida Bureau of Braille and Talking Books Library Services Update

The Florida Bureau of Braille and Talking Books Library Services is fully operational to serve its patrons. Staff and volunteers are providing full services via US Postal Service and downloads. Audio books and magazines, and playback equipment, free of charge to persons unable to access standard print due to vision loss, physical disability or certifiable learning disability. Part of the National Library Services for the Blind and Print Disabled network, Library of Congress.

All programs and services with the Florida Division of Blind Services are individualized to meet each person’s individual goals, independent living, educational, and career directions. The Division of Blind Services District Offices are currently seeing clients by appointment. The Rehabilitation Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired is holding virtual classes.
