Well, this is certainly different!!

 

 

Everyone has heard of artificial intelligence, well, Alexa has decided to
get in on the act and has taken AI to new heights.

You've heard of the way some cologne manufacturers used to market their
product with Scratch & Sniff, well, Alexa now has, Speak & Sniff.  That's
right, you can now experience some of your favorite fragrances just by
asking for it.

Who doesn't love the smell of frying bacon early in the morning, just say,
Alexa, fry the bacon and I'll guarantee you it will bring back memories of
your childhood waking up at grandma's house to that wonderful fragrance.

Or how about the fragrance of fresh coffee brewing.  Just say, Alexa, make
the coffee.  For the next five minutes your house will be filled with the
aroma of fresh coffee brewing.  You can even set up a routine for these
smells to automatically happen at a pre-scheduled time each day.

Do you like the smell of recently cut grass?  You got it, just say, Alexa
cut the grass.  Or maybe you like the smell of popcorn, Alexa, pop the
popcorn.

Coming soon will be fruit of the day.  Each day Alexa will have the
fragrance of one of your favorite fresh fruits.  Watermelon, bananas,
strawberries.  It will make your mouth water for a taste of one of these
fruits.

And our least favorite is to say, Alexa, pull my finger.  Just be sure you
can make a quick exit when you use this one.

This skill is available on all Echo devices for a 30-day trial period.  If
you should decide to continue to use Speak & Sniff, it will only be $1.99
per month and will include all the fragrances mentioned above and any
additional ones that will be added later.
