According to the Jesus Clinic website:  It is our desire to meet the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of those in our community who cannot afford health insurance and do not qualify for Medicaid.

That’s a good resource for the totally destitute. Depending on circumstances, Medicare and Medicaid should be explored if they haven’t been already. One can apply for Medicaid and food assistance at Department of Children and Families.  Application packets can be mailed out, connections can be made to community partners that work with DCF in addition to the DCF offices, and there is an on line portal where one can apply. The call center can assist with getting any of these options started. The main number is 850-300-4323. Be sure to choose the correct option as some lines are reserved for specific tasks. Hope this is helpful information.
