Subject: [NFBF-L] Financial Assistance Application Form For National Convention - Now Available!

Submission Deadline: April 15, 2024, by 11:59PM EDT

 General Information

The National Federation of the Blind of Florida is offering a $200 grant for members, with preference to first-time attendees, to offset the costs of 2024 National Convention attendance. Recipients of this grant must demonstrate through written and oral means a genuine interest in, and commitment to the effort of the National Federation of the Blind of Florida.  During convention, mentors will be available upon request.

Awardee Expectations

Recipients of the grant are expected to complete the following:

• Attend four of the six general sessions of your choosing

• Attend Two workshops of your choosing

• Attend the Florida Caucus (date and time to be released)

• If assigned, assist with a convention activity

• As assigned, complete a post-convention summary email to the chair by July 14,3024 at 11:59 PM
