<p class="MsoPlainText"> Born in a small south Georgia town, I have made my life about helping and teaching others. I worked as a personal trainer and then as a paramedic at Holmes Regional Medical
Center in the Emergency Department (a level 2 trauma center).<span style="font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif">

<p class="MsoPlainText"> When I became legally blind in 2009, everything changed, causing me to redefine myself on every level. After years of training I became a yoga teacher in
2012, received level 2 training in Reiki, I became a Thai yoga practitioner in 2014 and I completed licensed massage therapy school in February 2020, graduating valedictorian. I passed the National test and became a licensed massage therapist in July 2020.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"> I’m an intuitive healer, spiritual teacher and medical medium.

<p class="MsoPlainText"> Along with my beautiful blue Standard Poodle guide dog, Frank, I am very active in the community, providing awareness of the visually impaired and providing
spiritual support and inspiration.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"> I volunteer my time speaking with schools, groups, clubs and organizations of all kind about visually impaired people and their needs, white canes and guide
dogs.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"> I currently serve on the Citizens advisory board for the Children’s hunger Project and as a board member for Brevard county’s transportation disadvantaged
advisory board for Space Coast Area Transit.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"> I previously served on the Board of Directors for the Center for the Visually Impaired, where I led many fund-raising events, including their signature event,
“Dining in the Dark Brevard”, and white cane awareness day events. I am an inspirational speaker and have shared my story with many organizations at various events, including being the keynote speaker at Women of Excellence in 2016 and for disability awareness
month at NASA, 2020.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"> On October 17, 2018 I was presented the ‘Believe and Achieve’ award from The Brevard Achievement Center. This award recognizes individuals with disabilities
who have made significant personal strides in achieving success in work and/or life.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"> On May 3, 2019 I was one of the three presenters on a discussion panel for WeVenture's "Strong Women, Strong Coffee". We discussed how to be a powerful
advocate or yourself and others.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"> On March 18, 2020 I received the award of citizen of the year from the Space coast national Association of social workers<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">

<p class="MsoPlainText"> My story and activities have been featured in publications including The New York Daily News, Florida Today, Space Coast Living and many social media forums.<o:p></o:p></p>
