Greetings Fellow Federationists:
At our last chapter board meeting, it was decided that we need to make a
slight change to our chapter constitution. Currently, our constitution
states that a "majority" of all chapter members must be in attendance in
order for us to transact business. This statement binds us in such a way
that if less than 13 of our members are not present at any given meeting, we
are unable to transact any business.
After speaking to our chapter Liaison Camille Tate, and conferring with the
board, I have made a slight change to the pertinent article.
Attached you will find the constitution for review. Please look it over and
be prepared to discuss it at the June meeting which will take place on June
1.
Due to another commitment, I will not be in attendance, but Denise will
facilitate the discussion about this update.
I hope each of you are having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.
Kaye Baker
