Greetings Federation Family and Friends:

It is time for our October chapter meeting, and this month we are having our
election. We will meet Saturday, October 18 at the Center for Independent
Living, 2709 Art Museum Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32207 from 10:00 AM until
Noon. 

Please note, there will be no Zoom for this meeting. Since we are in
In-person organization, we can not have elections over Zoom. Everyone is
encouraged to come in person and be sure to cast your vote for the person
you most want to be in leadership for our great chapter. As a friendly
reminder, you must have already paid your dues for 2025 to be allowed to
vote in this election.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the meeting.

 

The National Federation of the Blind of Florida, Greater Jacksonville
Chapter will meet, Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Jacksonville Center
for Independent Living, 2709 Art Museum Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32207.

Please note, since this meeting will be our election, there will be no Zoom
component for the meeting. All members who have paid their dues for 2025 are
strongly encouraged to come in person to the meeting. This is your
opportunity to vote for the person you would like to serve in the available
offices.

The meeting will be held from 10:00 A.M to 12:00 P.M.

Secretary - Currently held by Fallon Minniciello

Board Position - Currently held by Marty Miller

Board Position - Currently held by Sarah Jacobs

 

State Convention Update

The State Convention was held over the weekend of October 3, 4 and 5. Anyone
who attended can briefly let us know their thoughts.
