Good evening to all, Sunrise and Shine Family! 

 

On our last Sunrise and Shine we had a terrific discussion about learning
something new everyday. You were the real stars of the show, and you took
time to educate each other. Now, let's continue the cool August theme of
having each of you as the reason our Zoom calls are such a hit. This
Thursday, August 27th, we'll dive into a wonderfully fun topic, that being,
what music do you like and where do you find it these days.

 

Times have certainly changed, from when the only way to listen to music was
to turn on your radio or grab a vinyl record or tape from the nearby
department store. Now music is at our beck-and-call and often, we can hear
what we want anytime and almost anywhere. On our upcoming 'Rise and Shine,
we'll learn from each other, what we like and where we find it.

 

I have a feeling that this gathering will be lots of fun and will open new
doors for many of us. I'll be happy to share what I'm finding on
NFB-NEWSLINE too. With all the new content now available, I think you're
going to be impressed, (I certainly was when I dug into all the music
related magazines).

 

If you haven't been to one of our calls before, joining us at 9:00 AM for
coffee or tea will give you a chance to find out what you've been missing.
We always take time for welcoming new guest speakers and participants and
for lots of warmth and laughter.

 

Most of us have become pretty familiar with attending meetings using the
Zoom platform over the past few years and in fact, we've been using Zoom
since we launched Rise and Shine way back on April 16th2020. If you're not
used to using Zoom or if it's still giving you difficulties, don't give up

The regulars on our call are always warm and welcoming and are thrilled to
