As previously discussed by our President, the 2024 NFB State Convention which had to be postponed has now been scheduled. After careful consideration by the board, and a long discussion with the hotel, we have decided to hold the convention over the Veterans Day weekend. This three-day weekend will allow for the same length for our convention as our members have become accustomed to.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif;font-size:large" dir="auto"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif;font-size:large" dir="auto">The convention will take place Friday November 8 until Sunday November 10. The hotel stands ready to take room reservations as of now. If you will be attending convention, and you previously had a hotel reservation, you will need to call the hotel at 904-396-5100 and reserve your room again.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif;font-size:large" dir="auto"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif;font-size:large" dir="auto">Also if you previously registered for convention, and you will be attending during our rescheduled time, you need to contact our Treasurer, Sylvia Young by emailing <a href="mailto:treasurer@nfbflorida.org">treasurer@nfbflorida.org</a>, or texting 850-322-5937 to be confirmed to the list of attendees. If you have previously registered you will not need to pay again, but we do need an accurate count of attendees so we may provide information to the hotel. If you were planning to attend convention, but you had not yet registered, now is your chance. You may visit <a href="http://www.nfbflorida.org/">www.nfbflorida.org</a> and register at a cost of $25 until November 1, 2024.
